Art Event Video

This is an event video clip, shot in Brooklyn. The performance was an interesting and diverse narrative about the cycle of life and the 5 senses. To get a variety of coverage of this event, I showed up early so that I could take video during the dress rehearsal. Then, I was able to get close, intimate shots that were not possible to shoot later on when the audience was present. I waited until the actual performance to get the wider shots. It was nice to get a good range of imagery, from the more artistic close ups to the more utilitarian and documentary type wides. We recorded the audio separately in a studio after the performance shoot.
